HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ?

All you need to do it fill out the contact form and I will contact you to organise a consultation.

what does a consult involve ?

I provide complimentary consultations that run for approximately half and hour. During your consult we will discuss your ideas, cost and estimate of time.

will i need to book straight away?

You are not required to book at any time unless you require a custom design. Then you would be required to leave a deposit and book an appointment date for me to begin the design process.

how much is the deposit ?

I require a $100 deposit for all appointments. This will come off the price of your tattoo.

how much do tattoos cost ?

I have a minimum cost of $150 for all tattoos. My hourly rate is $220 an hour and I charge a day rate of 6 hours for $1200 for large scale work that requires multiple sittings. Large scale work pricing can differ so best discuss this during your consult.

One off designs are quoted based on the size, the location on your body and the detail of the tattoo. 

what will i need to do prior to my appointment ?

Please refrain from getting sunburn and cosmetic procedures on the area to be tattooed prior to your appointment . For longer sessions its suggested you drink plenty of water and eat before you come in.

are tattoos painful ?

All tattoos come with a degree of pain that most people find tolerable. There are numbing agents you can buy to help assist you if you feel you need it. However, once the tattoo is complete the pain will subside. 

what is involved in aftercare ?

After cleaning and dressing your tattoo you will need to buy an aftercare balm.  This will help assist with the healing and ensure your tattoo retains the ink. After you have removed the dressing you need to wash your tattoo.

 Wash gently in the shower using a shower gel and pat dry with a clean towel after. Apply the cream to your tattoo with a thin layer twice a day for two weeks.

 During this time it is important that you do not immerse your tattoo in water, so no baths or swimming however showers are fine. Please do not expose your tattoo to the sun or wax or apply anything to the tattoo except the tattoo balm. Your tattoo will get itchy, please do not scratch or pick at it . This will cause scarring. After two weeks your tattoo will be healed and you no longer need to continue with the aftercare.

I have worked in both walk in and appointment only based shops. My experience with walk in shops has enabled me to master a variety of styles and my experience with appointment based shops has encouraged me to use these styles to create artistic designs that are both unique and tailored to the wearer.
